18 year-old Natalee mysteriously disappeared on May 30, 2005 while visiting Aruba on a senior class trip. Her body has never been found.
The prime suspect Joran van der Sloot, a Dutch national who lived in Aruba and one of the last persons to see Natalee alive, denies any involvement in her disappearance. However, he confessed to killing Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez, 21, on May 30, 2010, exactly five years after Holloway's disappearance. Van der Sloot is presently in a maximum security prison in Lima, Peru.
